These workshops were co-delivered by NZCER and the National Centre of Literacy and Numeracy for Adults. They included: a range of Assessment Tool user levels from beginner to competent; utlising literacy and numeracy data to inform whole organisation decision making and use of Assessment Tool results to inform teaching and learning practice. Each workshop is specific for its intended audience.

Ensuring the constant improvement of ELN at organisational, academic and programme levels requires that specific benchmarks be identified and measured appropriately. Five benchmarks are presented in the presentation, in addition to a data utilisation model that describes how data can be used to inform the relevant levels of an educational organisation. The benchmarks reviewed in this presentation can each be informed by data generated by the Assessment Tool. We recommend this material be a starting point for organisations to explore their vision for ELN, select appropriate benchmarks and begin to use the assessment tool data to implement a continuous improvement model.
